Biscuits & Gravy at Connections
Check out the video at left for Biscuits & Gravy’s performance of Footprints, the jazz standard popularized by Miles Davis. An interesting difference in this B&G version is their substitution of Ester’s violin for Miles’ trumpet. Having never heard jazz violin before, I was pleasantly surprised by Ester’s excellent rendition. BTW you can compare this version to B&G’s more traditional version with horns by checking out their myspace site which includes samples of their music.
